Yelo Bank contributed to the greening of our country

As part of corporate social responsibility, Yelo Bank continues to support initiatives aimed at improving the environmental environment. The Bank joined another tree planting campaign organized in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The management and employees of Yelo Bank took part in the campaign conducted by the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) in the village of Mushfigabad. During the event, together with representatives of the financial sector, 625 trees - Eldar pine and olive trees - were planted on an area of 1 hectare.

It should be noted that the campaign was implemented within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ABA, the Association of Insurers of Azerbaijan, the Microfinance Association of Azerbaijan, the Association of Stock Market Participants of Azerbaijan and the Fintech Association of Azerbaijan (AzFina). The purpose of the memorandum is to ensure the planting of one million trees throughout the country over 10 years.
